Philip Nelson is a 21 year decorated veteran of law enforcement and has enjoyed a life-long love affair with the written word. In addition to his law enforcement experience, he holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice, is a law enforcement instructor, firearms instructor, and has served most of his career in supervisory, leadership, and management roles.
He has created and managed several successful blogs and social media pages related to social issues. With a vast foundation in diversity through his law enforcement career, he has the ability to reach and relate to people from the entirety of the social spectrum. He also excels at ensuring tasks are completed regardless of time constraints or roadblocks created by critical incidents. Additionally, he has a proven track record of motivating others to exceed their goals and milestones.
He enjoys engaging on the topics of leadership, management, and supervision. He has been featured in Law Enforcement Today online magazine, The Good Men Project online magazine and Heart and Humanity Magazine. He is the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Man Cave online magazine.
